Packaging
Review 1: Very Satisfied Very pretty packaging, loved the blurb on the side about the cast iron that’s
traditionally used in Asian teapots. We have a few teapots in the store, and so it makes a nice
comparison. The box itself is a nice weight and pattern to make it feel a little more elevated. When
opening the box, the presentation was very nice. Everything had it’s place.
Review 2: Very Satisfied Super sleek looking, very enjoyable “unboxing” Experience
Review 3: Very Satisfied Exterior sleeve has good color variation to be eye-catching on the shelf. The
large, clear picture on the front and description on the back lets you know what you are getting in the
box, as “spice palace” doesn’t quite convey what might be inside. Gift box is sturdy, foam interior is
smartly designed to keep product safe and feels like a premium unboxing experience.
Review 4: Very Satisfied Beautiful…and functional

Instructions
Review 1: No instructions, but not a lot were needed.
Review 2: sort of- basic on filling the pepper mill. Super tiny booklet
Review 3: After digging around in the foam a bit, I did find the info booklet. It does show how to fill the
pepper mill, and that it is not dishwasher safe and should not be washed with water. I like to think it goes
without saying that the same instructions apply for the salt cellar, but if we give the customer no credit,
that might be an area worth addressing in the booklet or somewhere on the packaging.

Product Design
Review 1: Very Satisfied The weight of these are really nice. The look and feel of the set is high quality. I
love the texture of the Bali pieces, adds to the craftsmanship. The natural materials look really nice. We
already carry peugeot in the store, so the pepper mill mechanism is a high quality piece that performs
really well. The salt mill is very pretty as well. I like that the lid does not have a notch for the spoon, so

it’s easy to place back on the salt mill. While the spoon is pretty, it doesn’t let you pick up a lot of salt
with the flat design. If this were for strictly tabletop use, then I don’t see an issue with the spoon, but if
someone wanted to use this at their stovetop, it might be a little more difficult to use. Overall, this is a
beautiful and functional set.
Review 2: Satisfied Attractive design, a little small and heavy
Review 3: Very Satisfied Sturdy cast iron construction paired alongside the wooden accents is
absolutely stunning to look at. The small size and sharp-angled shapes are unique, and the weight of
both pieces help create a premium feeling.
Review 4: Very Satisfied Again…gorgeous!

Product Utility
Review 1: Very Satisfied The mill and salt cellar both do their jobs wonderfully. We also received a box of
sichuan peppercorns for use, and they were fragrant and floral, and added a nice punch of flavor to some
rice we had.
Review 2: Satisfied pretty small for a peper grinder but if you are going for more of a look then function
it is good.
Review 3: Satisfied Fine and medium variability on the mill is noticeable, based on tightening the button.
I never really found a coarse pepper grind. In comparison to the incredible differences from 1 to 6 on the
u’Select mills, the grind size capability on this one is definitely less pronounced.
Review 4: Very Satisfied

Pricing
Review 1: Satisfied While $135 seems a little steep for a salt and pepper set, this is a good price for
what you get. You can pick up the pieces and feel how heavy they are with the cast iron construction, so
a consumer can feel the value of the product. Our other sets usually come in around $70-$150 so this
falls into the typical range of sets.
Review 2: Neutral It is pretty expensive with one side not being a grinder, but it is a well known name
Review 3: Dissatisfied A gorgeous gift set, but I think it’s just too expensive. If it could get to $100 I think
it would be a strong seller. At $110-120 it would be a tough sell, but I think we could sell a few in Q4. At
$135, for the small capacity of the mill and cellar, I don’t think my customers will go for it.
Review 4: Neutral This is my one hesitancy. For the size of the mill and the fact that this set is one
storage piece…and therefore only one functioning mill, the price seems too high for my consumer

Notes
Review 1:
Review 2: The box and it being a set makes it a ok gift for Q4
Review 3: Thank you for giving me the opportunity to use and review! I love it, and if it were just a touch
less expensive I would seriously consider bringing it in.
Review 4: Love the product. But for the price, would expect that I would be getting two milling units.
